Named after Coty's protoype launched in 1917, an hommage to the legendary ancient perfumes of Cyprus. Long-lasting, warm, soft dark scents. Very sophisticated, elegant, feminine and urban. Generally chypres feature sharp spicy or green top notes which soften through fruity or floral hearts into a base of oakmoss, leather, patchouli and sandalwood.

Lemon, bergamot, neroli, petitgrain, tangerine, grapefruit, and lime. Reviving and refreshing.

Archives 69 Etat Libre d'Orange are celebrating their fifth anniversary with a new style of scent which will enthrall all their many admirers. ARCHIVES 69 is the first in a projected series of fragrances which will explore the pain,pleasures and longings of love; exploring the body in a romantic rather than a carnal manner. One of our favourite perfumers, Christine Nagel, has concocted this sumptuous perfume named after Etat Libre's Paris address in the rue des Archives.
This olfactory celebration of sensual liberation is a potent dark blend which starts with the bite of pink pepper and black pepper leaf before softening into depths of incense, plum, camphor, patchouli and orchid. Soft, very rich and intensely erotic, ARCHIVES 69 will appeal to lovers of the Shadow Side of perfume.
