1270
The name used is the date of the Frapins' arrival in Champagne long, long ago: before Crecy, Poitiers, Agincourt; in the days when English kings still laid claim to the throne of France.
1270 is complex, seductive, suitable for both sexes and draws directly on cognac for its harmonies and construction; the top notes are bright with candied orange, nuts, prunes, cocoa and coffee; the piquant heart is a sublime medley of warm vine leaves and flowers, blended with peppers and linden blossom; the base, like that of a superb cognac is honey, vanilla and precious woods. A warm, sensuous perfume; opulent and mysterious.
We find it irresistible - and if you are not a worshipper at the shrine of Bacchus don't be afraid! It is not compulsory to enjoy drinking cognac to be utterly bewitched by 1270. |
