Acknowledged as being 'the most Parisien of fashion designers' by his peers, Robert Piguet learnt his craft under the watchful eye of Paul Poiret, the most influential designer in the history of haute couture.
Piguet set up his own fashion house in 1933. But by 1938 his success and reputation were so great he moved his salon to the prestigious address at Rond Point de Champs Elysee.
