Fifteen years ago Julia Dee started a company called Designer Alterations in London. Visiting clients in their homes, fitting their clothes and taking them back to her workroom to alter, remodel and repair them. The business grew and clients began asking for advice on how to hang, fold and store their clothes, shoes, hats, bags and accessories. This led to the concept of TOTAL WARDROBE CARE.
Julia spent five years researching an elegant range of products to protect your clothes presses, drawers and linen cupboards.
Julia’s greatest challenge was then to find a natural, organic moth deterrent which was also a delicious scent to perfume our most precious and intimate items: a wonderful British “nose” working in the New Forest provided the answer – using oils of may chang, cedar, patchouli, rosemary and many other traditional favourites from around the world: all the natural enemy of the moth. |
