Over-ripe richness, opulence on the very edge of decay – an overblown rose, the perfection of jasmine before the petals fall. The exquisite ecstasy of knowing that an experience, a relationship is too perfect to last but recognising that its brevity is heart-breakingly beautiful.
Rich, sombre tones of ginger, lily, ylang ylang, jasmine, incense and underlaid with the faintly sinister suggestions of animalics, musc and leather. |
