<p>From the Royal Kingdom of Oman, magnificent perfumes of great opulence, distinction and rare beauty.<br /><br /> Amouage (a hybrid word deriving from the French amour/love plus the Arabic amwaj/waves) was established by the Omani royal family in 1983 to redefine and restore the great art of native Arabian perfumery. <br /><br />The legendary French Grand Nez, Guy Robert, worked on the locally obtained ingredients to create true masterworks of the perfumers’ art and skill.<br /> The finest frankincense from the Dhofar mountains to the north of Oman, very scarce and almost beyond price, is an integral ingredient of all Amouage creations, which are indeed a labour of love by their creators and which surge and billow on great golden waves of confidence and craftsmanship.</p>

<p>A sophisticated and vibrant aldehydic floral, perfect for luxury day wear. Delicate yet profound, DIA is an expression of graceful, elegant femininity.<br /><br /> Complex green notes lead into a lushly floral heart of peach blossoms, roses, orange flower, peony and orris. The beautiful long-lasting soft base contains incense, vanilla, sandalwood, oudh, white musk and heliotrope.</p>

<p>Slightly lighter and sweeter than 'Gold', and with a leather note and a chypre style. From an introduction of cistus, citrus, cardamom and frankincense, DIA develops into a floral heart of luscious peony, orris, plum blossom and ylang ylang. <p>The Amouage Saga continues with this beautiful evocation of the old Silk Route between Arabia and China, conjuring up images of tea, precious fabrics, gems, gold and pearls.<br /><br />For Women: Again packaged in protective green, the ladies' version features cumin, pink bay and cinnamon which leads to a lush, intense blend of tea, jasmine, geranium and velvety, musky damask rose. The sumptuous base features orris root, vanilla, santal, oudh, frankincense and gaiac wood. <p>The great 1983 original; a powerful and spectacular floral rich in lily of the valley, rock rose, jasmine and orris powder on the luxurious and characteristic base of myrrh, ambergris, civet, cedarwood, musk and silver frankincense. Heavy, heady, smooth and deep.</p>

<p>Complementing the female version perfectly, GOLD for men is an elegant, very tenacious dry warm chypre scent with a floral top note of rose, silver frankincense and lily of the valley which matures to a heart of myrrh, jasmine and orris powder. The exotic base which ensures a very long-lasting effect is a blend of ambergris, civet, cedarwood, oakmoss and patchouli.</p>

<p>An incredibly rich fragrance, expertly planned and exquisitely executed from an astonishing assortment of precious oils.<br /><br /> The top notes contain coriander, incense,blackberry, orange and cistus. The palpitating heart combines honey, gaiac wood, bay, cinnamon, rose, orchid, celery seed and cloves. And yet more comes...! Finally, the luxurious base is a sumptuous carpet of patchouli, sweet myrrh, cedar, musk, oakmoss, ambergris, oudh and immortelles.</p>

<p>Incredibly rich and intense, Amouage present the Queen of Flowers in all her moods and variety: green, dewy, smoky, dark, luxuriant, delicate, uplifting, delicate...Lyrical indeed, and already acclaimed within the industry and among perfume cognoscenti all over the world. LYRIC for women is a velvet crimson bouquet of geranium, rose, ylang ylang, orris, and tonka absolute on a rich base of incense, ginger, sandalwood and vanilla.</p>

<p>A magnificent animalic chypre which segues through oriental spices into a heart of jasmine, rich incense and fenugreek.</p>

Memoir - Ladies

<p>Imaginative and stylish fougere which features such unconventional oils as absinthe, wormwood and gaiaic wood with classic cool green basil and mints.</p>

<p>Like the legendary Arabian city after which it was named, UBAR was presumed lost after its original launch in 1995, but is now once again available, more delicious than ever: a romantic, soft but pervasive chypre/oriental which progresses from top-notes of bergamot, lemon and muguet to a heart of jasmine and damask rose; the sweet and velvety base includes patchouli, civet and vanilla. <br /><br />Really lovely; sophisticated and rich, while never excessive or heavy. Perfect for evening, or for that special daytime occasion.</p>
