His intimate relationship with Wanpouille gave this extraordinary woman the opportunity to exercise her un-dreamed of and innate skills as a highly imaginative, innovative perfumer in her own right. Most of the Caron creations of the next fifty years were to be heavily influenced by her presence in Daltroff's personal and professional life.<br /> Richard Fraysse is now the creative perfumer at Caron.</p>

<p>The Queen of Flowers, sacred to the pagan goddess Aphrodite, displayed in all her moods. Natural rose oils from around the world are blended with lotus absolute and jasmine; a touch of lychee imbues this sensual perfume with a hint of luscious verdure.</p>

Delire de Roses

<p>A lusciously decadent oriental perfume which blends soft sweet wild fruits with woods and vanilla in a supremely seductive accord. <br /> The top notes are a burst of green blackcurrant buds and a sumptuous swathe of Egyptian jasmine which deepen into a heart of patchouli, dewy blackberries, black pepper on a classic Caron base of Madagascan vanilla, amber and musk.</p>

<p>Crisp, aromatic, dazzling and refreshing: a thoroughly modern hesperdic scent from masters of their craft. Sourced from all four corners of the globe, this adventure in perfume starts with Japanese yuzu and Indonesian basil which deepens into Provencal fig and Spanish lentisticus. The woody base is of cedar and sandalwood.</p>

<p>1996. A very up-to-the-minute woody-floral blend of jasmine, iris, magnolia on base notes of vanilla, musk, cedar and sandalwood. Bergamot, anise and delicately scented violet leaves herald this excitingly modern perfume.</p>

Eau de Reglisse

Created in 1927. Inspired by the glamour of air-travel. Dry, warm and woody with a fabulous embraceable powdery base. Very long-lasting, incredibly glamorous and very much of its time;

Created in 1947, Caron's "New Look" perfume: A delicious and delicate blend of mimosa, bergamot and cassie, backed by vanilla and oppoponax. Long unobtainable in this country now available in Eau de Parfum strength.

launched in 1993. Like ‘Narcisse Noir’ this is one of two Caron fragrances that inspired a film, in this case “Scent of a Woman”. An updated, crispier, brisker, sweeter rendition of the 1933 ‘Fleurs de Rocailles’. Ingredients include violets, lilac, jasmine and aldehydes. The Caron connoisseur will note that musk, which plays such a pivotal role in the earlier version, is omitted here.

Fleur de Rocaille

Fleurs de Rocaille, the original formula created by Felicie Vanpouille in 1933, is a magnificent floral bouquet with a champagne burst of aldehydes, roses, lilac and jasmine in the top notes; lily of the valley, violet, carnation and ylang ylang palpitate at the heart, on a base of musk, sandalwood, cedar and oak moss

Fleurs de Rocaille

Created in 1936 and originally available only in the USA. French Can-Can is a long lasting floral chypre – based on the accord of ambergris, patchouli and vetiver. The sweet flowery top notes consist of violets, lilac, iris and rose. One of the richest, most tenacious and most evocative of all the Caron perfumes, now sold for the first time in the United Kingdom in Eau de Parfum strength.

IMPACT is the latest men's fragrance release from the noble house of Caron situated on Paris's luxurious avenue de Montaigne, directly off the Champs Elysee.<br><br>
This wonderful scent is a more concentrated parfum version of the suave and well-loved classic POUR UN HOMME which took the world by storm when launched in 1934.<br><br>
IMPACT has all the qualities which made POUR UN HOMME so beloved for over 70 years but in much greater and richer abundance: that means richer absolutes of lavender, vanilla and sandalwood pumping out a far more intense aroma- for the man who likes his fragrance to last that much longer and cast that deeper a spell!

Impact de Caron

A recent and very stylish addition to the masculine range: a warm, soft musky chypre with oakmoss, sandalwood, tonka and vanilla.

Launched in 2000 to celebrate the Millenium. An original and unusual combination of magnolia, jasmine, orange flower and neroli leading into central accords of roses from Morocco, raspberry and peach. Masses of tuberose and plum blossoms cloak a rich base of exotic oakmoss and sandalwood.

A big welcome to the return of this wonderful fragrance now updated and adapted to diffuse an even more ample loveliness. Originally launched as the most exclusive and private of Caron’s perfumes, Montaigne is a glowing, golden bouquet of jasmine, mimosa, daffodils and narcissus on a deep, warm, womanly base of musk, vanilla and scented woods. Gorgeously presented in a golden box.

Created in 1952. A sheer light single-note recreation of this shy, exquisite flower enhanced with rose and white lilac. This perfume was the favourite of the French-American filmstar Claudette Colbert, herself a byword for wit, style and charm.

Muguet du Bonheur

This is the bitter-sweet memoire of World War One that broke so many hearts. "Love No One But Me" is a sweet blend of damask and tea roses,musks,sandalwood and vanilla; originally launched as a parting gift for soldiers to offer their sweethearts before leaving Paris for the Front.

N Aimez que moi

Created in 1911. One of the great perfumes of history – the perfume that inspired a novel and a film; Gloria Swanson is said to have had the set of ‘Sunset Boulevard’ sprayed with it. Serge Diaghelev’s prima ballerinas wore it. Narcisse Noir is a daring and exotic juxtaposition of the purity of the daffodil and orange blossom with the sensuality of rose, jasmine, ambergris and musk. Vetiver and sandalwood, so typical of Caron, form the base of this bizarre and voluptuous creation.

Created in 1981. A beautiful soft, golden floral scent with top notes of neroli, rose and orange develop into the heart of ylang ylang, lily of the valley, jonquil and jasmine, deepening to musk, sandalwood and vetiver – the classic Caron base.

Created in 1922. Felicie Vanpouile’s celebration of the Christmas party season – a sophisticated, dark, smoky oriental fragrance: rose, tuberose and ylang-ylang top-notes on a mysterious heady heart of sandalwood and mousse de saxe, repeated in the base with the addition of musk. Most perfumers of today would include Nuit de Noel on their top ten of most innovative scents of the past century.<br>
As of 2012, Nuit de Noel is only available as a Parfum concentration. As such, samples will be .75ml.

<p>Created in 1990. Compounded of all the sacred ingredients used by the Egyptian priesthood in ancient Thebes: roses, jasmine, pepper, cinnamon, coriander and myrrh on a smoky creamy base of musk and vanilla in the shadow of the Blue Lotus. Rich, heavy and extravagant with notes of the finest suede.</p>

<p>In the early 1950's Caron were noted for two unique creations - FETE DES ROSES and POIVRE. In 1990, the firm melded the pair into the glorious Parfum Sacre, that stunning powdery blend of spices and crimson,peppery roses. Now we can offer you the new richer longer-lasting strength, with added nuance and intensity. <br /> Parfum Sacre Intense is a superbly opulent oriental scent with top notes of coriander and ginger, which develops into a heart of perfect Bulgarina rose; the tenacious, infinitely generous base notes include tonka, vanilla, musk, myrrh and frankincense.</p>

<p>The original 1919 classic. So strange, so innovative, one of the great legendary ground-breaking scents. Tabac Blond reminds us of the days when smoking was considered smart, sexy and sophisticated: it was the first fragrance to be based on an accord of heady sweet golden tobacco, heightened with tuberose and vanilla on a long-lasting musk base. Dry, woody and unique. Now available for the first time in the UK in Eau de Parfum Strength.</p>

<p>A glorious creation which introduces the legendary oud oil into Caron's legendary palette of scents. A heavy, intense fragrance which revels in its own richness and eccentricity: noble, exotic and imperious. Oud or aloeswood oil derives from various species of agarwood and occurs only when the wood is poisoned and dying from parasite infestation; so rather like ambergris, it contains within its molecules a scent of decay. This lends it a magnetic decadence which may attract or repel. Correct and discreet handling is essential - Caron's expert touch blends it with spikenard, cistus labdanum, Damask rose absolute, saffron, jasmine, cedar and musk. Absolutely gorgeous, like a Mughal Emperor.</p>

<p>This incredibly suave but fresh scent is perfect for the man about town; for sporty events; for evening and for the office. The construction is classic: lemon, bitter orange and bergamot in the top notes; beneath, aromatic French lavender blended with coriander; at the base: green depths of vetiver , galbanum and oak moss.<br /><br /> We can confidently assert that TROISIEME HOMME is a "real winner" , so artfully tailored that it appeals to all tastes; even those who normally prefer something a little more outre will invariably respond to the artful simplicity and timeless tailoring of this wonderful eau de toilette.</p>

<p>YATAGAN is another jewel in the Caron crown - often copied in the past 30 years, never equalled. <br />Like all Caron fragrances YATAGAN is a truly innovative trendsetter which laid the way for the much warmer, darker, deeper men's colognes of the 1980's.<br /><br />YATAGAN is complex and daring but never febrile or bizarre.<br />Bitter top notes of artemisia, wormwood, galbanum and oregano yield to a heart of geranium, jasmine, carnation and prune before the final secret is laid bare on a lingering base of olibanum ,labdanum, styrax, amber, musk and oak moss.
